Hi guys! I haven’t posted anything for a long time and I found this blog post which I wrote ages ago and I think you guys will love it! A while ago I made a dozen cupcakes and they were delicious. They were vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream topped with some cute sprinkles. This is an easy recipe which I hope you guys will enjoy. If you happen to make these leave a comment on how they turned out. Don’t forget to follow my blog, share and like! Now lets get to the recipe. You will need:
- 120g of softened butter
- 135g of caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 120g of self-raising flour
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas4. Firstly if you have rock hard butter do not put it in the microwave to soften it. Instead you can leave it out to naturally soften or put your butter in a zip lock bag and roll it with a rolling pin to soften it. The first step to making your cupcake batter is, you want to cream the butter and sugar with either a wooden spoon or electric mixer until it is pale. Then you want to beat the egg in a separate bowl and then mix it in with the vanilla extract along with the butter and sugar. Finally fold in the self-raising flour. Spoon your mixture until your cupcake cases are half way full. Then you want to bake these cupcakes for 10-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and a skewer inserted into the cakes comes out clean. Set the cupcakes to cool before icing them.
For the buttercream icing you will need:
- 100g of softened butter
- 200g of icing sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons of milk
For the buttercream beat the butter until it is smooth and then add half of the icing sugar and beat until smooth. Add the remaining icing sugar and vanilla essence and milk. Now you can spoon the buttercream into a piping bag with your desired nozzle. Pipe the cream in a swirl motion. Finally for the fun part you can add sprinkles. You can go crazy with the sprinkles. There you have it cupcakes with buttercream and sprinkles! I hope you guys enjoy and try this recipe out. Remember to comment down if you try this recipe and like this post!

Hi guys! As you all know slime is very popular nowadays and we all want to make our very own slime but we can never find the right recipe. When you want to find a recipe using contact lens solution it seems all you find is slime with borax. Don’t you worry as the BestEverBog is here to help. I have two recipes for you without using borax as I know in some countries borax is illegal.
For the first recipe you will need:
- 1 cup of glue
- contact lens solution
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup of shaving cream (optional)
- glitter (optional)
The first step is to mix you glue with your food coloring and glitter (which are optional). After that, mix in your baking soda. Then you can add your shaving cream if you want to make your slime fluffy. The shaving cream and glue should be a ration of one to one. Then you can add your contact lens solution. You want to add this bit by bit until your slime starts to stick to itself. Then you will have your slime!
The second recipe I think is really interesting and does not even need glue! All you need is some shampoo and salt. I would recommend shampoo from hotels and suave kids 2-in-1 as they work best. Now its best to use salt from a salt shaker so you don’t put in too much salt. If you put in too much salt you will see that the slime will become runny. When you see your slime start to stick together put it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes. Then take it out and play with it. If it becomes runny again put it back in the freezer for another 5-10 minutes.
There you have it guys, two recipes for slime. I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post. If yes leave a like and comment down what you want to read next.
Hey Guys! I am finally back after 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have definitely been away for a very long time. The reason for being away is well I kind of forgot and then I was very busy with school and when you think about it school is the reason I started this blog. It is the first day of the summer holidays and it lasts a whole month so I should hopefully be posting a bit more so stay tuned over the next few weeks. In this blog I will be writing about my favourites from May and April as it is almost June. As my May and April favourites are kind of the same I decided to combine them and give you my top 5 favourites.
My first favourite is glitter. This probably sounds childish and boring but there are tons of things you can do with glitter for example: decorating cards, party hats, dresses, mason jars and the new craze slime and even fidget spinners. I love making slime especially will glitter glue though I prefer adding my own glitter as I can mix the different colours of glitter with different colors of slime. I may be posting my own recipe for making fluffy slime soon 🙂 I also love making cards with glitter and using the glitter to outline a heart or card. By the way these favourites are not in order of most to least favourite they are just random like me 🙂
My next favourite is a cute jewellry stand which I got as a gift. I have many rings which I used to keep in a little box until i received this jewellry stand. The stand has enough hooks to store many rings and bracelets. There is also a bigger hook for your necklaces. I think the stand is a cute way to store your jewellry with style. You can see the stand below.
My next favourite is Jaffa Cakes. If you don’t know what Jaffa Cakes are well they have a cake base and orange jelly in the center topped with a chocolate coating. My favourite way to eat Jaffa Cakes is to eat the cake base first and then lick of the chocolate leaving the jelly for last. In Turkey they have a similar kind of thing but its white chocolate and lemon jelly.
My second last favourite is Uncle Saba’s Poppadoms. These poppadoms are cute and mini. They come in a variety of flavors. My favourite flavour is original which gives it a salty taste and my other favorite flavor is sweet chili. I have only seen these in Malaysia and Singapore so if you do see them be sure to try it out.
My last favourite is portrait mode on the iPhone 7 plus. This component of the camera app is amazing! I love to use my mums phone to take photos using portrait mode creating a depth affect or simply focusing on the main object. You get to take awesome photos that just look stunning especially when your background is a beautiful scenery. Unfortunately you can only use this mode on the iPhone 7 plus but still its amazing for photos.
I hope you guys enjoyed this blog if yes leave a comment and like for more monthly favourites. The best ever blog 🙂
Last Sunday I tried out a Vietnamese restaurant called So Pho and it is amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant when you want delicious Vietnamese food. Most people tend to skip starters and go straight to their main course but when you eat at So Pho you have to have their starter. I tried two of their starters. The first starter i tried is called Summer Rolls With Grilled Beef & Grilled Chicken and the second starter i tried is called Mixed Appetisers. In my opinion i preferred the first starter as it had more meat to it and less rice compared to the second starter which was mostly vegetables and rice, I also think they were slightly bland but overall good. Then we went onto our main course. I had the Vietnamese Beef Fried Rice which was the best fried rice i have ever eaten in my life. It was so tasty and the flavour was just scrumptious and i could eat that all day long though i think i would get bored of it after a while but i think you guys get what i mean. Finally we got to my favourite part DESERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered the amazing the best the Mango Glutinous Rice. It is just too good to explain. At first i thought i was going to hate it but then my mum forced me to try it and it was great, it was so sweet and that was why i liked it otherwise i would have been like ewwww. So basically this blog post is telling you about me eating at So Pho which i know is not that interesting but you guys have to try this out if you have not and if you have tell me what is your favourite dish at So Pho is ! follow and like The Best Ever Blog 🙂
This is my favorite recipe to use when making a quick and easy chocolate treat. The ingredients needed are
1 egg 4tablespoons of sugar 2 tablespoons of oil 1 tablespoon of plain flour 2 tablespoons of coco powder
Firstly crack your egg and whisk it in either the mug you want to make your brownie in or in a bowl which you can transfer the mix to your mug later. Then you will want to add you dry ingredients and then your 0il and mix well. Then you will want to pour this into a coffee mug if you have not yet. After that you can put it into the microwave. My microwave is 700 watts so I bake it for 1 minute and 40 seconds, you may want to check on the brownie every few seconds so it does not burn. When it is ready you can take it out and enjoy with a scoop of your favorite flavor ice cream
I hope you guys try out this delicious microwave brownie and comment down your favourite flavour of ice cream. Remember to follow, share and like . The Best Ever Blog
